Current Students can reach a Dept. of Urban Studies and Planning Academic Advisor via the Virtual Advising Center or request to meet with an advisor via a 30-min Zoom meeting. Please see the options below.

Prospective Students can email usp@ucsd.edu with their academic questions related to our two majors and minors as well as major transfer prep. All questions related to UC San Diego Undergraduate Admissions should be directed UCSD Admissions.

Academic Advising Options

The Virtual Advising Center is a great way to contact your advisor if you have a quick question or the advising office isn't open.

Peer Advising is a time to talk with another student in one of our majors. This is a great option if your not sure what questions to ask!

Peer Advising Upon Request

Appointments are better for more detailed information such as individualized quarter by quarter plans, students experiencing academic difficulties, or more complex questions.

Petition Submission
